I have a couple i'll be using and maybe putting the others under the knife for new paint :confused:

Doesn't anybody wear Bell helmets anymore? If not, why? I still have all four of my Moto 6's (1 Mcgrath replica, 2 Honda of Troy replicas, one which is still new in the box, and a silver volcano) and I just picked up two brand new Moto 7R's last month on ebay. One is the newer Mcgrath replica which I paid $80 for, and the other is a blue Swap which had a buy-it now for $29.99.

Good question. Bell hemets were "the" helmet to have just a few years back.

I always liked the looks/shape of them also.

I just for some reason don't like the looks of them. They just have a weird look to them IMO. Not saying it's a bad helmet, the look just haven't grown on me.

I took a couple pics of my new Moto 7R's, my new Moto 6 Honda of Troy replica, and one of the Thor Quadrant I won in a local series. Bell has been through some changes in the last 15 years or so. It used to be an American company with all the helmets made here. In the mid 90's, Bieffe bought them, and took most of the production to Italy. You'll find Moto 6's produced both here and there. The early Moto 7 (no "R" pre-2002) was produced in Italy. This is probably the reason these helmets cost so much, even ten years ago. Ownership changed hands again in '02, and almost all production was moved to China :mad: When I took the Moto 6 Troy replica out of the box today, the receipt was still in there. I bought it "on sale" in 1997 for $284.

Close up of the Moto 6. These are the best fitting, most comfortable helmets I've ever had. A little heavy by today's standards, but you don't even notice it.

The 661's are awesome! Pretty light and not AS expensive as some of the other helmets.

ill be rocking my new thor force carbon TA, this helmet is so light and comfy. If i could make a comparison of it to my previous helmets this would be the PEP's compared to the others being stock shocks;) id reomend this helmet to anyone.

It was like another 30 or so in addition to the price of the goggles. Little more expensive but that's the price you pay for that extra "cool" factor I guess :p

haha Yah I like them, but I'm just trying to figure out if they're worth the $70. I might look into the Smith Ti goggles. pretty much have the same lens. Well I guess I know what my extra $300 from income tax will be buying! :D
