lets see some pics of your trailors. My dad is looking for one and i want to show him some pics so i can get an idea for what he wants. Perfably large enough to fit 2 maybee 3 quads, has sides, and maybee a built in ramp. Maybbe a snowmobile style trailor with sides on it. He has a toyota tundra v8 so he can probaly haul a good size trailor. he does not want an enclosed one though. It would be nice if we could get one that is big enough to haull our 1953 ford naa golden jubille farm tracor that is about the size of a jeep wrangler.

by the way i dont care what you trailor looks like post a pic of it anyways

thanks

Well we have a 8X16 flat bed trailer, we had our buddy who is an awesome welder build it for us and it didn't cost us anything and we can fit 4 quads, generator, and tool boxes on it. If we need too we can fis 6 quads!!! I'll see if I can find a pic of it. Well this isn't a very good pic but there are 4 quads on it, it's pretty much all tubing.

my dad wants one with sides he says because if he wants to put loose stuff in it or lumbar and so the atvs wont fall out .

i like yours that is deff big enough to hold our tractor i would just make it with like 18" sides solid in the front for sure and mybe not in the sides and with sides there is more places to mont tie downs .

L.vageus where did u get your plans? i like that trailor

i built it right out of my head. decided on the dimentions as i went. took me 2.5 days to build. it pulls like a dream, mainly cause its pretty light, and the tounge is really long for a car trailer. i can remember all the dementions if you want them. mine is kinda for sale too. but as far as that goes, everything is for sale.

If you build one make sure it isn't much wider than 8ft cuz then it's illegal at least where I'm from!!! Yeah I like Vegas' too we wish ours was lower but it's great in the woods and we are going to put another axle on one of these days. The state patrol didn't want to approve ours cuz of it's size but they get a little nit picky!!! good luck on your search,:)

legal width for a trailer is 102", that is the very outside edge.

the night before ii finished it i went riding, and i happed to go over the handle bars of the 400, so my dad had to screw down the wood and put the front rail on it.

I am very happy with the trailer below. It hauls 3 quads, has a 77" wide x 12' long deck and a 3900# axle. The brand/manufacturer is PJ Seminole and you can buy them in almost any state...

On mine, the rails come off (as an option) although we usually drive the quads on and spin them around.

Its got 15" tires (instead of the little snowmobile trailer tires that get gobbled up on our crappy roads). It also has a bulldog hitch and 2000# jack. The gate was optional - all totaled, including an extra tire/wheel I spent just under $1,000 (brand new).

Good luck...

Dedo, do they make that trailer in a shorter version? I just need it to fit 2 quads and a dirtbike sideways and that would cost less money I would think. Thanks

I cannot remember - check out www.pjseminole.com - they have their distributors there as well...

I think you can get a 10' long but you still need the 77" wide (8' wheelbase) in order to get the quads on sideways.

I know the guy I bought from offered options like the removable roll tube rails versus just angle iron that did not come off. Also, you do not have to get the gate if you have ramps you want to use - I think that was about $100...

Check'em out. I am sure your local dealer will offer specific pricing and options that will not be on the PJ website...

There are some other guys who have this type trailer - if you want more recommendations ask around...
