Killswitch question

Ill be racing in the CRA this year and my first race is saturday and I just found out its mandatory to have a killswitch. I have an old one from my banshee but not sure if it would be different than one for a fourstroke. Here is a pic. It should work right? oh and also is some updated pics of my quad. still need the new seat though.

It will work fine.

There are 4 wires coming from the key switch. A green, black, red and a black with a white stripe.

You slice the wire coming out of the plunger of the kill switch to the black with a white stripe.

You splice the wire coming out of the metal part of the kill switch to the green wire.

If you get rid of the key you need to splice the other 2 wires together so the fan will work.

Yeah i got it to work but for some reason had to splice it into my actual killswitch!??! wouldnt work any other way....but the seat cover is being replaced by a quad tech hump seat as soon as i get tax return. the seat cover thats on it doesnt even match the seat. i think they sent me a YFZ seat cover.
