I do alot of motcross racing with my ex, I am now considering the switch to TCS suspension, but I do not know much about them. Right now im in a toss up between the TCS and the Works Performance setups. Any suggestions??:D

TCS makes very nice suspension. My cousin had them on his 250r.

The TCS are great but I think the high speed valving is off a little. I have better luck when I have them made for 15-20lbs lighter than I really am. But they are great shocks otherwise. Mo:p

Mo,
If you had to do it all over again, would you get TCS again? Im gonna got LT sooner or later and Cant decide between TCS, PEP, or used Axis.

Stocktires, yes I would. Their customer service is awesome. Their turnarounds are even faster. And the shock performs hella good. So I would definitely do it again. Mo:p

I thought the new TCS used elka bodies?

Elka or Axis, no matter which one they are a 5/8 shaft now.

TCS are sweet. I was going to go with TCS but then i decided on Elka just because i can get them from the Quadshop and i like to get whateveri can from there or Marcums and becasue the Elkas are cheaper. I rode on a pair of TCS and they were really smooth. and They had great sag. The only thing i didn't like about them was the adjusting. It seemed like it was a little tough but then again i have only ridin on them and seen them once.

I know what ya mean, I'd LOVE to buy from marcums or quad-shop, but Im not gonna buy elka's. I wont get something I may regret getting.
Elka's look great! But TCS is what Im wanting for the reasons Mo stated.
I'll be sporting a TCS/Herrmann or Gibson LT front-end hopefully soon.
Good luck w/ TCS romey!

actually, TCS now makes their own bodies. They 1st used works bodies, then Elka's, now they manufacture their own.
Either way, I have them and love them, excellant service and quality. Elka's seem equally as good also, both service and products.

do TCS come in standard travel? and whats the wait?

Sparks425Ex

TCs comes in both standard and long travel. They are both the same price for standard and Long travel.

They are deff. sweet Shocks but Elka is Just as Sweet. Just wait until next year and see how many ppl are running them.

what's the wait on TCS? Anyone know?
Im still trying to decide up-on TCS, PEP, or maybe even elka's.
TCS and PEP are looking good. TCS will be a lil cheaper and hopefully I wont have to wait long on them, PEP's are a lil more and baldwin quoted me $895 and I'll have them in 8-10 weeks.

tcs wait isnt near as long as the pep wait!!

Dave400ex

Call TCS and ask. I know for sure though that it is not anywhere close to PEP's wait. Most of the time you end up waiting longer then 8-10 weeks for the PEP's too. I would get the TCS. I bet you would have them in less then a month.

i have the new style TCS shocks with the 5/8ths shafts and remote res. as well as tripple rate springs. they are awesome shocks quite frankly. they keep the tires glued to the ground and the steering seems to be alot more responsive. i ordered mine from KandK atv and im not sure but i think i got them in somewhere around a month after i ordered them. i wasnt in a real big hurry anyway because i had been waitin for my new frame to come in. i had screwed up my whole front end when i broke the frame in 4 places around the front shock mounts while jumping at an MX track. i dont have anycomplaints about their quality and they are like landing on pillows. i would deffinantly recomend them to any1. BTW - i can take bottom shock mount bolt out, press back the retainer a little bit and pull the springs off. then i can take these 2 little what i call " sag spacers " out of the top springs and it will ride superlow.
