No link rear shock

What length shock do I need for a houser frame with a -1 swingarm? Thanks alot,

you need to know the measurement from eye to eye. with your bike all the way down sitting on a 2x4, and you need one with your bike siting on something 12" high. take your shocks off and do this. that will tell you what your shocks need to be set at. you shock builder will need this. That's what they wanted from me. what type of riding are you going to be doing??

Apparently I am going to need 17" eye to eye right on. I plan on using it for a mx bike. I will be posting pictures when I get all my stuff together. Thanks for the help,
