need some battery help

the other day i tried to get my 400ex out to go ride with my buddies and it drained the battery tryin to get it to start. i took off the seat and rear plastic and i still cant charge the battery cuz there is a hard plastic cover over it and i cant get it off
any tips????

Follow th ered lead to the solinoid, and attach the positive lead for the battery charger there.
To move the plastic out of the way...you need to pull the battery out. But leave it on, because it helps to prevent a shorting of the battery.

thanks for the help i got the plastic piece off and grinded it down so i can charge the battery better
