Apparently, Offroad.com's Justin Waters took a very bad spill this wk end.He fractured his T7 threw T-10.He also had a colapsed lung from a broken rib .His helmet came off and he got some abrasions.
Apparently he was clearing a triple and the rear end bucked on the down slope.

Justin Waters raced for several years in the WORCS series and had just recently moved to racing Cam-Am for the 2008 season and had plans to race the WPSA in the 2008 season.

I would like to say a prayer and wish Justin a full and speedy recovery

Justin might get to go home tomorrow and is in great spirits.
GREAT NEWS!:)
Pro rider Brandon Brown was by the Waters side the whole time and was a big help to the Waters family. Its times like these that family and freinds mean alot .
Hes going to be in quite abit of pain for a bit, but if hes half as determined as he is when hes racing, he will be up in no time!:macho

I spoke with Justin's dad, Dean, and he also told me Justin was going to be ok, but he has a punctured lung, some broken ribs, and some vertebrate damage. Fortunately, the damage to the spine was on the exterior, so no risk of being paralyzed. The spine damage was actually caused by the Leatt brace because of the amount of force that was put on the brace and Justn’s neck. If he wasn’t wearing the brace, Justin could have experienced some serious neck injury, so the brace apparently worked to minimize the damage

I am just glad that he will be ok and it appears he will be back to riding in no time.
