I have a 2007 trx450ER and I want to improve my rear suspension.

I dont have the cash for a aftermarket shock then I was thinking about a linkage.

Which one can I buy to fit my OEM shock? Does this will improve my suspension? Does it will work with a aftermarket shock If a buy one later?

http://www.gtthunder.com/
http://www.derisiracing.com/

Either one of those for a revalve/respring and linkage.
Almost as good as aftermarket at 1/4 the price.

I spent a lot of time on a GTT rear before I went to a full aftermarket LT rear. And I goda say the rebuilt rear shock from GTT with their link is worth it.

why?? never heard any negatives from them. talked to laz today and done business with them before never having a problem. If GT sucks why is his son brandon kicking butt in the GNCC with thier setup? if they wasnt good he wouldnt be using thier suspension.

I used mine for MX for a whole season, it was great.

GT Thunder uses a linkage with their rear revalve, where as C&D does not. Both setups work good though, they're just different setups is all. I have the GT Thunder rear setup with the front C&D setup. Both worked good. This past fall I sent it all to C&D for reworking, and rides great. I prefer to have the linkage myself, but C&D still set it up for that linkage.

I have heard things about GT Thunders time and their customer service. Laz is a very busy guy. He quite often doesn't answer the phone from what I hear, so email is the best. I bought my stuff used so I cant say that I've had to deal with Laz, but I have dealt with Colby form C&D and he is one cool dude. He will take the time to talk to you on the phone about your setup, and what would work for you. C&D is probably my favorite ATV shop I've ever dealt with for their customer service. A lot of times I buy parts from then knowing I can get them a little cheaper else where, but support those that support you!

Well if its a long travel linkage, obviously they don't use it for their stock rebuilt shocks. Which is the topic of this thread =)

Whatever linkage they prefer for their revalved longtravel shocks is totally different.
And still, LSR linkage is made by LSR, not C&D.
As the GTT and Derisi links are actually made by GTT and Derisi

Actually we do use the LSR DC6 link on th 06 an newer 450r with the stock rear shock. The length that LSR lists the shock needs to be is not ideal. We lengthen the stock rear shock and use the two piece LT link. This setup works really well without increasing the leverage ratio on the stock rear shock and over working it. This alllows us to use lighter valving and spring rates. Even though we do not make our own linkage for the 04-05 we can set the shocks up to work with other shock builders parts.
