does ne one know were i can take my quad to get db tested so i know if i can ride at silver lake next year

I think Radio Shack has db readers. I have no idea how much. :confused:

I went to Silver Lake 3 times in 2002. Never saw anyone checked for dB. As long as you had a spark arrestor, you were allowed to ride.

Not sure what to expect in 2003...

Same here....i went twice and never got checked.....and i have a loud ***** duncan pipe with no SA

They have been getting more strict every yr.

What type of exhaust are you running?

They tested me last yr. I was at 105, with about 16 disks on my E-Series. They still let me in.

With a disk system, you don't need to worry because you can just take off a few disks.

I was there at least a half dozen times this year and never saw anyone sound tested. They do check for SA though. I saw many people not allowed to ride because their spark arrestors were not up to standards. My WB pro-meg is very loud, and I was worried about being told to bugger off, your too loud. But they never checked me. You have a few months before they open back up again. They open back up on April 1. If I am still in Michigan I will be there shortly after.
