well im doin this science expeiriment (sp?)on what pre-filter would work better. i will be using an outerwear, towel , and a cotton shirt as pre filters. but i need some help like links for research and your own opinion

The towel will more than likely filter better, but its going to straight MURDER your performance.

The outerwear is designed for that use....so naturally, its going to work just fine.

The cotton shirt should work ok. Its still going to affect performance IMHO.

Have you tried any of these methods on your own quad yet?

yea im using a towel on my 300 and i have no loss of power it seems to filer pretty good
but the reason im doing this is because i personaly dont think much went into the design of the outer wears. And so i could get a new filter out of the deal lol!


anyone else?
