450r bored fcr Carb sparks racing

im just curious has anyone done this,
i believe the carb is a 40 and they bore it out to a 43, it says its for more built motors and i can see that but um just curious how it works ,is it more of a tt,mx i assume its not an xc mod

There are a few threads with info on this in the 450R section. Most in there are using the DRG FCR taper boring. I assume its essentially the same. I believe Chad of DRG also just recently posted a thread about flow bench data and differences on the FCR and stock carb.

i had a tokyo mods bored carb and it pulls up top more then anything

well. it can help in bottom. or top. or both, it tepends whether it is straight bore, or taper bore...and you can use it for xc. why not?
