Try a Keihin PE28MM

I like the roundslides for motocross

You may also want to look at the PWK28 (twice the price) or even an OKO28mm carb

have you done any work to the top end? ie, port polish raise the compression? if not i would sugest the pe 24 alittle better throttle response on a basic motor any of the aftermaket intakes will work just fine

The Koso intake or the Metrakit intake both will work well on the 24 and 28 mm carbs

on halie's quad i use a 24mm... the 28 seemed to bog on the holeshot but had more top end.. v-force reeds and koso intake...im sure you seen her get the holeshot everytime even against the black apexs.. she just wont jump with it(another story)

On our built 90 I spent countless hours trying to jet our 28mm Khein to get rid of the sluggish bottom end. Finally out of desperation I took the stock 24mm Mikuni off of my son's KX65 dirt bike and it worked great. Great throttle response and I never have to mess with it. Since then I have told some of our racing friends and they have also made the switch with great results.

Good luck,

Tom
