My buddy is working out a deal to trade a pair of exhaust manifolds off a truck for a 250x that needs quite a bit of work. He does not have the manifolds, but may have some located. I just wondered what everybody thought about this trade.

sounds like a good trade for him. but it depends on how much $$$ the 250x needs

The big things are that 1st gear doesn't work and it needs plastic. It has a lot of other little things that need to be done, but I know it will run, and the tires are decent. It also has a DG pipe and silencer, and a jet kit.

fixing 1st gear will be a pain. ususally u just open the case and lube all the gears if their in good condition.

sometimes you have to replace gears which are not that expensive
