View Full Version : Any idea on this front fender

Has anyone else seen a front fender like this? It is suppose to be a maier fender but I never saw one with a scoop in it.

idk butt all the people trying to make scoops for them are all gay. the only way to make them look good is with the 250r scooped hood.

I believe this was made by maier, it was not a custom job. I talked to the person who has this bike and he said it was old stock they had for several years.

And I like this custom made scoop but it for the factory fenders. And I looking for somethig different in the aftermarket fenders. Fullbore looks pretty cool. And this fender looks cool.

thats made by feathercarbon it says it right on it. n that one looks gay also, the only way to go with scooped hood is 250r

^ couldnt agree more with that guy :devil: i have a scooped maier 250r carbon fiber hood just havent had the chance to put it on yet lol.

I believe this is a old maier fender that has the same scoop as the 250R molded in it. I have a oil cooler behind that carbonfeather hood and it work pretty good.

I agree the 250R maier scooped hood in their front fender does look good but woudl have to hole in fender to make it functional and no just for looks. But I never saw one that fit right on factory fenders around handle bars and gas tank. I do like this 250r hood on factory fenders.

dabomb_350X: That is my stepsons 300EX. That is a 250R Scooped hood that I trimmed the ears and then heated it with a heat gun and got it formed almost exactly to the 300EX plastic. Thanks for the compliment!!!

that is a slick job you did on the hood...
LOOKS GREAT!

so that is a Maier 250R scooped hood, can you still use the stock headlight with that setup? it looks like you might have room..

Yeah you would have plenty of room for the stock headlight
