What weight?

What rider weight are the 450r and 400ex setup for when they roll off the showroom floor?

There is no weight their set to at the factory. the prolly set on the first notvch... its up to the rider to tune suspention.

Incorrect. They still set the valving and spring rate on the shocks to a predertimined weight, though I'm not sure what it is, though something crazy like 165lbs sounds right. It was a surprising number when I heard it before.

That sounds about right with beginner rider. Man the 400ex is great until you hit whoops and jumps then you get a beating. Dont get me wrong compared to quite a bit of the other sport quads the 400ex suspension isnt have bad all it needs is some work. New front shocks and a revalved/resprung rear
