I went riding on sunday and I noticed that my 400 ex made a strange rattling noise. it only happened when I was in 3rd gear. I did have some trouble getting it into neutral after the ride was over. I only noticed this rattle/metal-on-metal clanking noise in 3rd gear at about 1/2 throttle (maybe). then to top it off I was having trouble getting it started especially getting it warmed up before we ride. I know that in general honda's are tough to get started, and i have read tons of posts on changing pilot screw but what are my options?? What can I do? Could it be a clutch problem? any help will be appreciated, I am sort of a newbie! thanks.
