2007 or 2008 Outlaw IRS

I went to a local dealer who had a 2007 and 2008 Outlaw 525 IRS in stock. Can some of you fellas shed light on any differences? The '07 is going for about $800 less than the '08.

A friend of mine has an 07 and he said that they were gonna put smaller vavles in the 08 models to give them less power, how much truth there is in that I'm not sure.

The only thing that changed from 07 to 08 is the colors. In 07 you could get the black or white one, and now there is red and white offered. If you like the 07 colors better, save the cash and but some goodies with the extra cash. Basically, you are paying $800 for the red plastic.

There is one more difference. There is one more diff. The front shocks on the 08 are Fox and the fronts on the 07 are Ryde Fx. Also has different wheel bearings in the front on the 08, and the seat latch is different. Everything else is identical.

I forgot about the shocks! Damn! Ok, but I woul dnot think that would be enough to spend the extra $800. For that abmount, he col djust get the RydeFX shocks rebuilt for his style and weight and have a shock that is tons better!

I also believe the front spindles are different and lower rear a-arms. They at least have different part numbers. Also the rear carrier where the bearings are held is also different.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I like the black colors alot so manana I will go pick it up. With the cash I am saving I was gonna get an HMF or CT exhaust system.
