what gearing for XC

what gearing are yall guys running on your XC bikes?? just trying to get some ideas on what works the best??

I'm running stock on my 07 and ran stock on my 06. I like it. With a cam it seems to work great.

I ran 13/40 on my 04 and I am gonna try the stock on my 07 at the first race and if its too tall I will go to a 13/38 my 04 didnt have much on the top end apparently!

drop one tooth in the front, its the best thing i ever did, i often found myself caught between first and second in tight stuff, by dropping one tooth in the front you can ride almost anything in second without stalling and it doesnt take that much out of the top end of that gear, i think its the best set up for xc by far,
