Getting first tattoo. any help appreciated!

my parents said i can get a tattoo for my 17 B-day. My older brother has a really good artist that will get me a good deal on whatever. What my problem is...is that im not entirely(sp) sure on what i want. im thinking about smoke or light flames in the background but for the actual tattoo i have no idea what i want. If any of you guys have any pictures of some tight tattoos you have or any ideas that will help me id appreciate it. i know for a fact im getting NO color done to it, just black and shading. i like skulls, iron crosses, and sh*t like that. thanks

My personal opinion about tattoos is you should only get one that REALLY means something to you. Like the memory of somebody who passed away.

Thats just me, but either way I think you should have a pretty good idea what you want on you own if your gonna commit to something like that.

I would get a really detailed picture of you riding your quad. Jumping with dust trailing....

dont get anything done until u know ezactly what u want. take ur time and figure it out. last year i really wanted a tattoo in the worst way with no idea what i wanted, and one day i was like nautical stars r cool, so i went to a tattoo shop and got three nautical stars on my side, a year later i wish i would have put more thought into before i got it done. just recently i got a tattoo across my chest and i love it i spent months thinking about it and i got ezactly what i wanted and i am very pleased.

i dunno thats just my experience. just dont think of an idea one nite and get it tattood the next day, put sum thought into it

yeah thats exactly what i want to do is find something that means something to me, all i have is time on my side so im going to keep thinking until i find something that fits. any pictures of your guys'?

Where you going in vegas? I got some very nice work done by Ron at Tattoo Heaven a block down from the stratosphere.
