Hey all I am in the middle of installing an HRC Cam and I am attempting to get the decopression bolt out and it is being a real bear. I can loosen it up about a turn and a half and it stops. I am assuming the bolt will come out the rest of the way but I dont want to crank on it if not. Any advice will be appreciated
Thanks Tim

try just a little heat beacuse they are loctited on but be careful and not use to much heat cause you can mess the little spring up on the release

i usually get a pair of vice grips and grab the cam with them were the sprocket bolts on. Someone holds the vice grips while i use the allen head tool that is in the tool kit to remove the decomp.

best way is to clamp where the sproket bolts in a vice and that way it doesnt slip and you dont have marks on your cam
