Ok, I put a slow leak in each of my stock 400 tires during my last dessert ride. Now I've pretty much decided on the Razr's but Im not sure which ply rating to go with... I know 6 ply will last forever but I also know they are heavy! but I dont want to worry about pokin more holes in the tires by mowing over some sage brush so is 4 ply going to be enough?:huh I am sure I wont go with 2 ply and Im assuming that 2ply are for good for track stuff. Thanks,

Go with 4 ply. Get a light weight but tough tire. Razrs' are supposed to be really durable and longlasting too.

Thanks for the quick responses guys! It looks like 4 ply should do 'er!!! How would I plug the stock tires? I know how to find the hole but would I use tire goop or get an actual repair kit??
Thanks

For the desert, I wouldn't get anything less than 6 ply, Holeshots XC or XCT preferably. Desert=high speed+rocks=hole in sidewall. You're gonna need 6 ply or you're gonna have flats.

If your going to use any of those "slime" products DO NOT use the Slime brand!!!!! I used it on my Kodiak and it didn't work at all in fact it just made a mess inside the tire when we had to plug the hole. Just my .02 worth:)
