Alright Pap, I have all the parts boxed up and ready to go, First thing in the morning they will be shipped. And I will come back in here and post some tracking numbers for ya. I have 2 boxes, and the frame. The frame still has the stem bearing and 3 bumper bolts broken off in the holes. Here is a run down to what is coming and colors I want:

Frame+subframe- Candy Blue + Gusset Kit
Steering Stem- ATV Fourplay Orange
Swinger- ATV Fourplay Orange
1 ziplock bag full of parts- ATV Fourplay Orange
1 ziplock bag full of nuts and bolts- Moly Coat
Brake Stay- Candy Blue

The bags have the color written on them so you will know. Since I will be using ATV Fourplay arms, They will be orange, So I want everything to match them. I think the orange color will match all the cardio stack stuff perfect. As soon as I find me a ball joint seperator, I will ship out the spindles and hubs. If you need anything else, Just let me know. If you have any stickers laying around sent me a couple, and I will slap it underneath the Cardio Stack logo. Represant Brotha!

small change. I just realized I put the steering stem bracket that holds it to the frame in the wrong bag. I put it in the ATV Fourplay orange bag, but It was suppose to go in the Candy Blue bag. I think it would look wierd with the stem and bracket both being orange. sorry about that

did you get the frame? I just tracked everything, looks like UPS screwed up something, but it says something was delivered.

Pappy
01-15-2008, 12:59 PM
yep, ups put it in the back of my truck at the shell station in town this morning:eek2:

i havent unwrapped it yet, but its from you

national425ex
01-15-2008, 01:36 PM
cool, Everything else should be there tomorrow, since someone screwed up and sent it to the wrong shipping facility

I was just thinking that you might need to know what stabilizer I use. I know some gusset kits have to be set up around the stabilizer, Im not sure which kit you use. But to be on the safe side, I use a Elka System 3. Let me know when you get it unwrapped and what you think about them bolts. Also if you can, Please try to re-use the stem bearing, its still pretty new. Im going to be having rocky mountain send you some new bearings for the swingarm, Will you press them in for me?

Pappy
01-16-2008, 07:43 AM
Thanks for the heads up on the stabilizer.

Yes, we can install your bearings

national425ex
01-16-2008, 08:56 AM
alright, They are coming to you from rocky mountain. Im not sure if it will have my name on it at all, so when you get them, Just remember there mine. I sent them to you to save time and cost of shipping.

Pappy
01-16-2008, 11:35 AM
ok, i just removed the 3 broken bumper bolts. 1 came out easily, but the other two were a *****. you may end up just running long bolts and using nuts to mount the bumper. i can drill them out and install heli-coils but in all honesty, the first tree you smack you will be redrilling them. let me know

im aboout to gusset it and it will head to stripping tomorrow

national425ex
01-16-2008, 11:56 AM
so the threads are no longer usable? Drilling and re-tapping isnt an option? If not , dont worry about it, I will just use the longer bolts like you mentioned. You should see the other 2 boxes tomorrow, UPS sent them to virginia first. Thanks for the up date.

Pappy
01-16-2008, 12:14 PM
well, more times then not the reason they snap off is due to either cross threading or corrosion has fused them. drilling a pilot, using an easy out works but on some the threads come right with them. if the holes isnt damaged then new threads can be cut but most of the time the crap metal these frames are made of just pulls out with the broken bolt.

the proper way is to use a chrome moly bung , but I dont have the machining needed to make those (cut off old and weld on new with threads)

01-16-2008, 01:38 PM
alright then, Just do what you have to do, I dont want to end up redoing the bumper mounts after powder coat. So your the expert. You do what you think is the best solution. Also when you get the boxes, Look at the bag for moly-coat and PM me an estimate. I may end up skipping the moly-coat on all the bolts in the bag, and just moly-coating the swinger bolt. Thanks Pappy

01-17-2008, 09:33 AM
Finally you guys got my parts, lol, I was starting to get worried UPS would lose them. Let me know about how much it is going to cost to moly-coat that bag of bolts first. I may just hold off on that.

Pappy
01-17-2008, 01:27 PM

hey pappy, I just read the updated price sheet and stuff, All those bolts I sent you, Just sent them back, You dont have to worry about them. I understand its probably crazy trying to keep track of a lot of little bolts. Just moly coat the swinger bolt. Any updates on all the other stuff?

Pappy
01-20-2008, 12:35 PM
No worries on the bolts, infact they are right now in the vibratory polisher and will be clean as new when returned! (its the keeping track of 500 bolts and dropping just one in my blast cabinet which is a little on the LARGE size:p )

Your stem goes to stripping tomorrow, small parts are blasted now (just finished them) and swing arm will be next to go to bare metal.

national425ex
01-20-2008, 12:43 PM

Any idea on a ship date? Trying to figure out how much time I will have for test/tune/dial in time before the frist race in march. Its going to be pushing it. Even if I got everything by this friday. I would give myself two weeks for assembly. That leaves me with a week of seat time to dial everything in and get ready. Maybe I will skip FL and GA. :D I dont want to spend the money to drive there and such then have something go wrong and end up with a DNF. Looks like my season will start in NC. Thats what I get for waiting till the last minute to do a rebuild:p Let me know when you ready to ship Pap. lol

Pappy
02-04-2008, 06:04 AM
your remaining parts are on deck for tonight, and if i can get it all boxed it can ship tomorrow and should be there wednesday.

i need to make sure youve paid, and a shipping address so pm it to me (address is more important so i can roll through wrapping everything up) and you best be in FL:macho

national425ex
02-09-2008, 01:45 PM
Pappy, I just got the frame, and let me tell you it looks amazing! I love the color. Just one question, this probably sounds stupid, but was the subframe suppose to be boxed up with the frame? When I opened the box, only the frame was in there. Should I be worried?

Pappy
02-09-2008, 03:01 PM
haha no dont be alarmed. the subframe ships seperatley along with all your other parts.

the other parts were due to leave here friday, but i screwed up my pick up info with fed ex and they never arrived, so they are here and ready to go for monday

national425ex
02-09-2008, 03:11 PM
thats cool. I thought it may of been something like that. Thought I was going to have to beat some fedex tail:macho Thanks again Pap! :D

national425ex
02-13-2008, 01:32 PM
Pappy, Do you have a tracking number for the rest of those parts?

Pappy
02-13-2008, 01:44 PM
yes i do, however i highly doubt they are going anywhere due to all the snow and ice here. i have a call into fed ex to see when they think they willbe moving again but no reply back as of 3:30pm

national425ex
02-13-2008, 02:07 PM
okie dokie:p

Pappy
02-13-2008, 02:19 PM
Just got off the phone with them (4:15)

They claim it is their fault with not coming today due to a failed pick up on their system. I am pretty sure it has more to do with us having snow and ice but in any event they claim tomorrow(these were all sceduled to be shipped out on the 8th so I am not really sure why there has been such a delay beyond the weather yesterday and today) IF IF IF they happen to come today for a delivery I will reply back, if not I will let you know when they are picked up tomorrow and will have a live tracking # so you can see when they will arrive at your place etc.

Sorry for the delay in any event, the past week has been insane but all should be back to nomal in a few days
:p

ohh yeah, Fedex run today?

Pappy
02-14-2008, 07:56 PM
yep, everything was open today.

my neighbor left this morning right after the school bus (6:45 am) and about 2 miles down the road hit a parked garbage truck doing 55:ermm: he said he never even saw it was parked and thought it was coming at him do to the glare on the ice. wth 55..lol totaled his new silverado...but wasnt hurt

i was a bit upset at fed ex because i called tuesday and asked if they were running and they said yes...if i had known they werent coming for a pick up, i would have ran the load to the next town to get it all shipped....same damn thing happened wednesday:mad: although i doubt i could have even gotten out with 4wd

national425ex
02-14-2008, 08:09 PM
sweet, I should see them saturday morning then:D You guys must of been hit pretty hard by the ice. We didnt get alot of ice, just a few inches of snow and a little ice. Roads werent that bad either. Hopefully that is the last of this crappy weather and spring will roll around. How bout them rims? They finished, boxed up, and ready to ship in the morning?:p

Pappy
02-14-2008, 08:16 PM
