The Recon Is Sold.

Well, it was my first new quad, lots of memories with that quad. It's being sold right now. but, I have the 300EX now so I don't really feel to bad about it going, and we ended having some major issues. Just got done rebuilding the engine so we could sell it. The motor was trashed from lack of oil. And it has some shifting problems Etc.

i sold my recon 1 yr ago green electric shift got 1600 for it which was good, good memories on that machine always ran good cept going through water.

Same here, it went through the water fine until it sucked the water in. It was also electric shift. And no, the quad was new from the dealer when we bought it so the engine was fine when we bought it. Ended up not getting enough oil though and started to get some piston slap which was the odd ticking noise we couldn't figure out. I still have the old piston, it's a little burnt up in spots. But for being in that bad of shape it still ran rather well. But we rebuilt it to sell.
