Recently, my 300ex has given off puffs of white smoke when i first start it. After it is warmed up it doesn't do it.

Um.. either your burnin oil or your running it in cold weather, i get that when i first start it up cause my motor is cold, plus im in Canada and its snowing out now.

it may be just the cold weather. if it was burning oil the smoke should be a blue color.

yup it is from cold becaus emy 300ex does it when it is cold out side but it stops when it warms up

as long as its not blackish or colored ur good.
