anyone remember the guy who bought a brand new 450R and a brand new crf450 and combined them? i went on the forum he was on (3wheelworld or something like that) a few months ago and couldn't find it. and i think he got banned from here or basically boo-ed of the forum because of what he did.

im just wondering if he finished, that thing would be sick.

i don't think he got banned, but he got bashed so much, i think he said f these guys with one too many wheels. if you search (im way too lazy) someone made a thread about it, then he registered on exriders as a member and defended himself.

I remember that whole thread also. It was so long and quite funny. I am really curious to know if he finished it too!

that guy was Mr. Atc, he also has a name, Black Sheep. Haven't heard or seen anything else from the trx450r he cut the frame in half. Never seen any pictures of the crf450r front end mocked up. I'm building one using a custom made frame, cr250r forks, custom tripples, steering stabilzer, fliptop seat, and many custom parts.

The last I heard, he was waiting on the CNCing of the front hub. I think the majority of the work was finished.

it's sad that 3 wheelers are a thing of the past. they're a blast to ride.

I'm sorry but i'd rather fly through the woods on a 350X than a 650lb 900cc 4x4!!! I think 3wheelers are safer than the new overpowered 4x4s!

I felt the same way you did.... I rode an ATC 70 before I rode a go kart, but about 4 years ago, I was at a friend's track when a guy showed up with a fully restored 86 200x. I used to think that was the ultimate three wheeler. We talked a bit and he asked me if I wanted to ride it, so I jumped on it and took off down the field on it, and everything was good til I went to turn around and come back, and it felt SOOOOOOOO unnatural to be on that thing, so I took it back and got back on my 400ex..... My time has passed with three wheelers but I do remember the goodtimes on em!!!!! It's awesome to see these newer versions of them. Somebody built one with a YFZ engine and old school Yamaha graphics..... Long live the three wheelers and the brave souls that rip on em!!!!

I agree, those 4 x 4's are too much, alot of weight. A roll-over can crush most people, I really don't see how they are safer. I preffer my trikes over quads, I feel more in controll of it. Can you say, almost zero bump steer? and to turn, you have to make it turn.

yea, it just so happens that the huge 4x4 riders are generally (with exceptions) the artards on the trails trying to prove something.
