has anyone heard of thses coming out. I've mentioned it before, I heard about it through a guy i race with. supposedly they come in 9.5 width and have wider spaces betewn the knobs.

At least I remeber my dealer telling me about the 18x9.5-8" AND 9"

I could be wrong though.

actually they are 10" wide. 18x10x8or9. If you look in the new dirtwheels, there is a pic of a Z400 with roll stuff, elka shocks, and ITP tires and rims, and the tires are the MXR's.

ya i think its in the newest issue of dirtwheels and it has a yoshi pipe and all the goodies

OO no. I hope they make 10 inch rim ones too. I just bought the CF rims. Well I think they will. But I wish i bought 9 inch rims they seem perfect.

9 is perfect, I love mine. I had 8's and 10's, but 10's were too rough and 8's where too small

and what kind of rims are those?????


for mx, i would go with either the 8 or 9" rim. I like the 9 too, but i bought 8" before the 9 come out and i'm to poor to buy a new set of beadlocks.

10in is for more turny, flatt tracks, like TT tracks, thats why TT tires only come in 10in rim sizes, 8in is for rough, hardcore tracks, because u get the extra "shocks" from the massive sidewall, 9in is just a mix of both

the cf rims he is talking about are the carbon fiber ones made by hiper tech, i don't know if he runs dual beadlock or single.
they are a very nice setup, and i am getting a paid soon with tamers on them...

Yea they are Carbon fibre. I like The 10 inchers alot better then my 8 inchers. I was surprised that it wasn't any bumber out on a rough MX track. ask Bro It was Super rough that one day at the track. I was amazed, so i checked out Hipers site. they said the rims flex a bit. ALso they corner noticbly better then the 8's. Yea they are double beadlock
