If you can't find them on this site, try Rockymountain atv.com . Free shipping over $99. If you don't have tires yet they have tire and wheel packages, for sand only .160-.190 douglas rims. The stock rims are pricee' from Pure Polaris around $260 but they are a yellow label Douglas wheel.

Polaris puts gold label on there big sport atv's for a reason. My 06 500 got them and so does my 08 450, reason being is the atv are heavy and fast. I would think that a .125 even for the sand is tempting fate? Maybe on a 250 or smaller, Better to be safe .160, or .190 for sand maybe. But for the dirt, rocks and roots, go with stock or the black label like Outlaws got.

I went with the 3 pc HiPer bead lock front and rear. I did a custom 6+2.5 rear offset and a 3+2 in the front. It keeps the quad just under 50" wide. I also went with the Razr R 18X10X10 rear tires and 20X6X10 fronts. I went up to a 15t front sprocket from the stock 14t which made things perfect after the tire size change. The 10" rear wheels eliminated the rubbing of the lower rear a arm on the wheel as well. THis combo is perfect track setup since it lowered and widened the quad just a bit. Mark at HSD Racing got the wheels for me at a great price. He was the lowest I could find.

If you are going for 6061 Douglas makes the .160 in a 10" with a 6+1ish offset. I'm not sure if they are strong enough for this beast though.

I am using the Douglas .160's for my paddles but would not want to go with that for big air on the dunes or for the trails. I would at least go with a .190 or another set of the stockers! The stock wheels are strong! My next set of trail wheels will more than likely be HiPers in the stock offset though!

well i dont jump or pound the whoops as much as used to. i was thinking the .125's for the price and i'm only needing paddles for when i go to winchester bay this summer, i dont need paddles around the dunes around my area. i'm just on a tight budget now because i need all the money i can get for gas when i go this summer.

You could just buy paddles and have them mounted on your stock rims. Some places will swap them for $10....

i was thinking of that, but i really dont want to weaken the bead on my tires taking them off and on. by the way eerhard, were did you get your .160's at? and what price? i think i probably asked you this question and if i did dont laugh, just cant remember

Recreation Tire can order them from DWT if out of stock. Another suggestion to strenghten them would be to get them from OMF with an inner and outer reinforcing ring or bead lock. The outer BL works well on that wheel with a small inner reinforcing ring. They use the 10" inner ring found on front wheels. While not the most cost effective it is a great option since the snad pads like to spin on regular rims with all that power.
