I've read on the forums over the years that ATV's have to meet some sort of emissions regulations. Does anyone know what the regulations are and how they are measured?

Looking for facts, not speculation.:)

On my frame it says this, i dont know if this is california numbers or not. I am in Pa and it did not have the california jets in it from the factory.

EPA emmissions standards
CO= 400 g/kw h
HC + NOx= 13.4 g/kw h
