So my stock rad is looking rough with so much paint chipping off of it, would it hurt it to strip all the paint off?
On a side note I spent like 2 hours straightening out the fins on it today but it looks pretty good now, except the paint situation.
Thanks

That depends on how you do it. I glass beaded mine, worked great and didn't damage the fins.

Pretty common stripper. Use gloves in a well ventilated area and watch the paint bubble off.....simple and very effective.

I was planning on just using the paint stripper, I didn't know if there were any problems people had had, kind of doubted it but I'd rather ask then have a garbage rad and have to buy a new one...
Thanks

I don't think paint stripper will hurt it, but it might not get all the paint out the small grooves/cracks. It'll loosen it up, but you'll probably have to use a small detail brush on some of it.
