How often do you rebuild the 90s when racing? We are runing the stock class.

Our 90 has been running strong since March 2007. Compression is good still.

But with the new racing season 2 weeks away I will probably do something soon.

We run a compression test.
Anything down around 110 gets rebuilt!

One of the most important things that will add to your engine life is to use a good air filter and keep it clean. Mud races tend to mess things up too on mini quads. My .02

Exactly,
We just sold my sons 07 race quad to a friend. It had 135 lbs compression when the bike changed hand. He races it last weekend in the mud, snow, water, etc. Hit a big water hole full bore on the parade lap and loaded the filter up with water. I told the dad to change the filter and drain the carb. He didn't, the kid kept running it with it cutting out and dying. Got it homw and the compression was 85lbs.
Lesson,
Keep the filter clean and if conditions are that bad, cover that thing up.
