question about a sprocket

ok i have recently seen that my from sprocket is gerring vry warn
down... so what im thinking is putting a 16 tooth sprocket on the from (15 is stock) i have 18x10 rear tires so i have **** for speed but im planning on getting bigger tires

do u think i should keep it 15 and just get the tires or 16 but keep buying 18's

I went up a tooth on my 400ex ( 14 to 15 ) cause I was running 18" razr mx's but I lost so much bottom end I put the stock sprocket back on. I rather the torque than the topend. It's a big difference.
