Finally got my Rossier in the mail today. It fits perfect and I had no problems installing it.

It's nice and loud just the way I like it, but unfortanitly have not got a chance to ride it other than around my neighborhood and from what I can tell acceleration has improved greatly. I will let you all know how it is after this weekend.

Here are some pictures.

If you like loud, you should have bought the Ron Woods pipe. WOW! I had to wear ear plugs to race with it, and it was still loud!

love how the honda is being used as a shelf!

i am still waiting for my ds x , trying to get the dealer to knock some cash of the price of the bike as i am going to be racing it. they want me write a resume to the company before they can give me an answer.

i want to go can am because i am very impressed with the quality on the outlander and renegade models, we had 2 of each , put around 6500 kms on each machine w/o any problems except for ones that were self inflicted, a bent frame due to wide open into a tree, the a arm actually hit but didnt bend, the frame took all of the impact on a renegade, and a neglected u joint in the rear driveshaft got sloppy, because it was never greased, and took 6000 hard kms to make it go bad.

i know this probaly isnt the right subject to post in, but whatever

Let us know what you think of it now with the pipe. Dose it fill
like it gained as much power as cutting the pink wire dose or less.

that pipe looks great on there! really looks like it would pep it up nicely if you had a power commander to adjust the fuel/air ratios

I CALLED ABOUT THE POWER COMMANDER AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WONT BE OUT BY THE END OF MARCH!!!! THEY NEED TO HURRY UP UNLESS THE PERSON I TALKED TO WAS WRONG....

i really hope that person is wrong! it should no way take them that long to get the powercommander made, functioning, and produced...

I HOPE I WAS TOLD WRONG BUT I E-MAIL POWER COMMANDER DIRECTLY. I ASKED THEM IF THEY WOULD BE OUT BEFORE THE END OF MARCH BECAUSE IM GOING TO GLAMIS, CA THEN AND THEY WERE LIKE HONESTLY I DONT THINK SO. :(

I WANT MINE SO BAD!

I'm guessing that you haven't ridden a DS yet or not much atleast if you are so worried about a power commander. After cutting the pink wire and installing a FMF exhaust, you can hardly even keep the front end down. Thats why Epic is selling the new swingarm, to help keep the front end down a little.
The whole point of the race map is to adjust the fuel/air for an exhaust and filter. A power commander isn't an extremely important thing.

i didnt know exactly how much the race map added... With all the other fi 450's if your putting on a new exhaust your gonna wanna adjust the fuel maps ASAP! haha they tend to get really really lean.

Glad to hear Can-am added enough fuel so you can put on a full pipe. Hows the fmf pipe performing? They run extremely hard on dirtbikes and im hoping the same on the quad!

I was really surprised how drastic of a change the fmf makes in power on the bottom end. Even just a slip-on makes a huge change.
I could tell a small difference on the bottom end after installing a Velocity Filter and cutting the wire, but it still was nice to have more. I think a lot of people will agree that the powerband is a lot like a two stroke, so the bottom end power helps a lot.

WatersRacing, I own a DS450. I was telling people how the power feels like a 2 stroke stock. Im use to riding a trx450 with lots of work so it had tons of bottom end so thats why I want the power commander and exhaust.

I just cut the pink wire, removed the baffle and air box lid 2 days ago but I havent rode it yet. Im going to order a rossier exhaust for it next week.

the rossier should do nicely on there! Waters racing, do you haveany pictures of your bike? Do you have a full fmf or just the slip on? I really like the mega bomb headers, they are really nice pipes from my experiences from my 2 wheeled buddies

I like how the rossier uses a clamp where the 2 pipes meet. Most aftermarket pipes leak there some causing the quad to pop when you let off.

I don't have any pictures of my quad specifically, but essentially our quads are the same. This is actually on Jeremy Lawson's quad but it also has the megabomb in one of the pictures.

I thought this was cool too, but I wasnt quite sure where they wanted you to clamp it. To join the two head pipes or to join the headpipe to the muffler?

I havent got mine yet but I think it clamps the header to the mid pipe.
