View Full Version : Anybody bought or sold an ATV on Ebay?

I have a Blaster and my brother has a 300EX we are wanting to sell. We are not having luck selling them locally. So..we figured we would try Ebay. I see people selling them everyday. But how would you take care of shipping? Anybody have any experience in this? Thanks.

my dad bought a few quads off of ebay. He gets em shipped through forward air or somethin.

I Bought A 250x On Ebay About A Year Ago.. I Just Met The Guy Half Way , About 4 hrs For Each Of Us... It Worked Out Good. I Believe For Forward Air the Average Is Around $400-$500 Or So Depending On Distance.... There Are ALOT Cheaper Companies Than That Though... Just Find A Trucking Firm Near Your House & Call Them For Prices Or Do A Search On Google.

I bought my son's 125 on ebay. Went and picked it up to save shipping but it was only a 2 hour drive.

I picked mine up.

When I was looking I only searched for quads in my area to avoid the shipping problem and expense.

Also, I wanted to see the quad before giving up the cash. Good thing I did because some quads look good in a picture covered in armorall but ride like $H!t.

I sold 1 of my dirt bikes and 2 of my quads on ebay. I got $1500 for my 89 Blaster last spring and the ebay fee was right around $100. I also sold a 76 Corvette for $6000 on there and it was $250. It will cost about $50 to put it on if it sells or not.

Had to deliver the quads,both not any farther than 100 miles,and a guy flew out here from missory and drove the car back.

Sold my banshee on there and got $6500 out of it. I kind of miss her.

Yehh that was her. I had over 13,800 in it.

First off the motor has been is made by TRINITY RACING in California and has and has got their 420 Long Rod Kit in it and also has there STAGE IV Modifications done to it which is porting and polishing, STAGE IV Head, WISECO Super Lite Pistons, 35mm Keihn Carbs and reed cage modifications. It has FMF Fatty pipes that have been polished to a mirror shine. FMF Boost Bottle and Power Reeds with Spacers. A DENTON Steering Stabilizer. Braided brake lines all around. Custom Radiator hoses. DID 520 GOLD O-Ring Chain and Renthal Sprockets. BRAND NEW Hole Shot FRONT and REAR tires on Douglas Rims. K&N Filter with Pre-Charger. Motion Pro Twist Throttle (still have the thumb also included). DG Krome Lite Front Bumber AND Nerf Bars and FULL Skid Plate and Rear Skid Plate. You also get 2 EXTRA Sand Tires and Rims and a Helmet! Now the chrome. This bike has every CHROME piece you can buy from CASCADE INOVATIONS (http://www.cascade-innovations.com/). Water Pump Cover, Exhaust Clamps, Gas Cap, Tail Light Bracket, Side Case Insert, Radiator Grill, Parking Brake Block Off, Dip Stick, Handle Bar Clamp, Stator Case Cover, Reservoir Caps, Fender Brackets, Valve Caps, Lube Caps and the Crank side of the motor has been polished to a mirror shine. I am about to put a 99 400ex on eBay lol, i have over 33 positive feedback with 1 negative. R6, i didnt realize that was your shee, i was drooling over it!!!!!!

It took me 2 months of searching on ebay to find a good quad for cheap. Also he was located in my city so I couldnt pass this one up.
