Everyone knows PEPs take the longest to get. With Wayne being the only person that builds them and the rush of everyone ordering new shocks or getting them serviced during winter it must get hectic. PEP shocks can take up to 3 months to get when you buy them brand new. Be patient guys.

On a different note.

How much would a set like the ones posted above cost me for a 400ex?

I sent my elkas to Seth to get rebuilt. It's not his fault parts take so long. My elkas were done really quick, but my housers are taking forever cause of powdercoat and parts from houser.

Yeah, I usually go through him but the wait seems just about the same wherever you go.

I don't have a problem with the wait, but when they call you and say you're gonna have em by the end of the week, and two weeks later, you haven't seen them and call, and they say the end of this week....... I think you get my drift. All I'm saying is be as good as your word...... If they aren't gonna be avail for three months, then don't say two weeks....

Baldwin doesnt build them from scratch, He just like SF racing can valve them and fix them.

The shocks I posted would cost around 1250 for a 400ex.

Took me exactly 4 weeks to get mine from SF racing. Took me 2 weeks to get my walsh a arms from him as well. Seth is a great guy to deal with. He said 4 weeks and i got them in 4 weeks. Im not sure what happened with this guy, but i loved my shocks. Best front end i ever rode. I got the PEP bigg bottle long travel 8 click ARC's with remote rezzies. G33 walsh a arms as well.

Of course. Baldwin orders the parts from Wayne then builds to order like anybody else. What I meant about the wait was that if you're ordering new shocks, the parts still have to come from Wayne first so everyone's pretty much at the mercy of his lead time.

SF Racing is also one of Nicks sponsors. Im sure that helps him out with stuff. Just search for PEP shocks. Ebay has great deals. I seen a nice set of PEP shocks with remote rezzies for a 400ex on EBAY last week for $300 buy it now.

All they needed was revalving and maybe get the springs powercoated again. I love used items. They might look rough, but they serve the purpose and they cost half as much as the same thing thats new and shiny (and will only be that way for a month).:)
