I am looking at putting on 400ex +2+1 full flight A-Arms on the front of my 250X along with 450R shocks mounted with a conversion kit. I know I will need the 400ex tie rods in order for them to reach. Will the geometry line up close? Can't I adjust the camber, caster and toe with the full flight A-Arms? Once I do the front suspension can I use a +4 rear axle to widen the rear to the correct width or will I need more? I guess what I am asking is how much wider will the +2+1 arms make the 250x than stock. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I ran 400ex +2 ASR a-arms on my 300ex. I would think theyd work on a 250x. most aftermarket a arms are adjustable. at nationals, i rubbed both sides on the 50" measuring thing, to im guessing 49.5 or somewhere around there.

my stock 250x measures 39 inches outside of wheel to outside of wheel so it would widen it 10 inches. That cant be right

the 300ex is exactly the same the only difference between a 250x and a 300ex is the crank in the engine which gives the 300 a bigger stroke as for everything else it is the same.

Our 300ex has burgard +2 400ex a arms on it with ITP 3+2 offset wheels and its at 46 inches. You would need +3 a arms to get close to 49.

It also has 400ex shocks with a diamond j customs relocation bracket. your gonna need some kind of relocation bracket to have the shocks in the right place.

mine must have been +3 then. its been about a year since i sold them and i have bad memory. if you have +3, 450r length shocks will work. i had works build me some pro series and they were the same length as the stock 450s. i am still running the same shocks, just different valving.
