well today i went and rode, and everything was going good, till i felt a loss of power, and bogging on low end. It was after it got real hott, but once i shut it off, and it cooled down, it ran like a champ till it got hot again! Not to sure why? The last time i was on it, it was going good, then i felt it bog, and i couldn't get the RPM's up enough, then it bogged down till it had no power a shut off. 15-20 kicks later(while hott) it still wouldnt start. Full compression and everything. Sat for 3min or so, kicked it 2 times, and braaap there it went. Still bogged a little, but not to bad. So whats wrong with it? Thanks

did you try your jetting, maybe the ignition to, swap out CDI boxes and see if it helps.

i thought about the jetting, but its been jetted like that for the past 2 years, never changed it, and its never done this. Its the same feeling as it was right before it blew up the first time, lol. Which is never good...... Just got a brand new stator so i know its not that, but i dont have another CDI box to swap out...:ermm:

Didn't you just get your motor done not to long ago? I'd say jetting if you never re jetted it after getting it back.

I would try your coil when there START to go bad they brake down only when hot. I would try this. It happens on sleds alot. We will put snow on it to cool it down to get home.

jetting for the dry winter months will always be completely different than jetting for humid summer months...

hopefully, this is the simple fix and nothing mechanical has begun to fail....

good luck.

the motor was rebuilt about 6months ago and has ran fine since then. Its been jetted the same for the last 2yrs, and ive riden in 20 degree weather,a nd in 90 degree weather, and it runs perfectly fine.... It was in the 70s yesterday and it ran good, but then would miss and bogg and cut out... The stator just got replaced about 3months ago, so maybe it is the coil......

pull the jets, and blow compressed air through them.

edit: now we are gonna wait till i ride it again, and see if it does it, and if it does, then we are gonna take it to him... I started it up today, started 2nd kick, let it run for 10-15min while raising the rpms up and down, and it didnt do anything so idk...
