460ex stroker kit

im lookin to upgrade my 400ex i want something other than the 440 kit i am currently lookin at a stroker kit!?! I want to know what all your opinions are or wat you have heard of it

Well everyone is goign to have different opinions. There are several differnt stroker motors othere ranging from a 440 stroker to a 505 stroker. I am currently running a 440 big bore with a 7mm stroker to make it a 490 this thing has alot of torque I ahve never got it dynoed but I am goign to after I rebuild it. Depending on your riding style as to what i would go with. I know gt thunder makes 452 stroker motor that has a 7mm crank. Also i know powroll has a 4mm crank that makes it a 460 with a 440 bore I believe I ahve heard good things about both of those. Tc and sparks also can do some strokers motors as well but havent heard anybody with them but i would say they are bulit very well but i would say they are very costly as well. So really it alldepends on what you are trying to do with your bike and how much you want to put in it.

my bike is an 04 and the engine is getting tired so im just looking around trying to find the best thing. I trail ride 90% of the time the rest is sand dunes and a race every now and then. Ive heard bad things about messing with the bottom end of the 400s is there any truth to this and what all have any of you heard

it's all going to depend on how it's built. I would call gt thunder and talk to Laz. I've heard good things about their stroker and he will be able to give you a lot of information.

Yea Gt thunder would be a good place to start
