hello, i was wondering if anyone could tell me why you couldnt use the trx450r's cdi box to run an xr650r motor?? the only problem i could think of is if the trx's ignition advance was too much for the xr motor but besides that i really cant think of why it wouldnt work.
I am putting an xr650r motor into my 05 trx and i am wanting to utilize the factory harness. if i cant use the 450r's cdi then i will probably call vortex and have the program a 450r cdi with the xr650 mapping.
