brand new works..squeak

i bought some brand new front works shocks for my 400ex and they squeak like hell .. i didnt even ride on them for 20 mins and they squeak.. would anyone know why they do this

Usually it's just the upper/lower shock bushings. They are usually dry when new and need to be lubed before installing.
