View Full Version : widening my ex
I am thinking about widening my 400, am currently searching for 2 + arms, allready got some 450 shocks coming, am considering using wider hubs on rear to gain 2 or 3 inches, any comments on useing hubs to widen rear thanks Bill

I think widening hubs in the rear would be ok as long as you don't jump a lot and aren't putting too much stress on the hubs. Otherwise, a G-Force axle is only $200; I had one on my raptor and it worked well for the price.

Go with the G Force. It will 200 bucks well spent.

I went with 2+ on Full Flight A Arms, anything longer you will have to replace all stock brake lines. I would Highley recommend them. Well worth the money.

if you look on ebay for a while and have a little patience, you can pick up a set of burgard +2s for a decent price. i also bought a gforce axle off of Rootar and i couldnt be happier!

search for used parts. I'd look into getting an axle instead of hubs. JMO

it sure is. hes been there for a couple years now.
thanks for all the input guys, I am trying to close a deal on some 2+ brugard arms right know. I know the axle is the way to go, but I was nor sure I would like the quad being wider for cross coutry races so I thought hubs or yuk even spacers as a test. the hubs I saw where 1 and 3/4 wider on each side $80 a set. thanks for input

yeah I am starting to realize this, checked out some advertisments last evening, you guys all seemed to have had good luck with the g force, and they are the lowest price. oh decisions decisions Mild Bill

I know several guys that run the RPM dominator, which is adjustable to +4" and they all say they are very durable. You can pick one up for about $325 or so.
