im thinking about getting a 250r. how would i do in the woods if i jetted it right, geared it down, good tires, etc. would it still be a pain to ride in tight woods? what else could i do to make it better for the trails?
it will be fine, a lil more work than a 400ex, etc, but it will be good, a clutch upgrade would be a good idea as well, shocks too
elka shocks, soften rear chock, make the preload a lil soft too, +1 in. steering stem and tag handlebars, also some nice tires, like holeshots and fronts holeshots

more clutchwork is involved with a 2stroke in the woods.
still quite fun tho :D

An R is probly one of the more user friendly 2 strokes out their. They are fine trail bikes as long as you don't mind working the clutch a little.
