o6 fcr on a o4 450

i am going to purchase a fcr for a 06 honda 450 , and was wondering if i would have to order the air box intake and all to get this to work . If u know anything about this any help would be greatly appreciated

i am currently going the opposite way...an 05 carb on my 06...as a test to see if a a hot start will help my starting issues...so i will say what i have run into...

i have needed to purchase an airbox from an 05 also...as the intake on the 05 carb was too big for the tube on the 06 airbox...

so using an 06 carb and an 05 air box, the size difference may too large to clamp and get a good seal...

all you need is a carb extension from noss machine. you can get one from them or call JH racing and johnny will get you hooked up
