So I was washing the quads yesterday and I noticed the battery tray is cracked half way around on the 250. The battery could drop out on any ride. To replace the tray I would have to replace the whole rear fender so I think I'll just epoxy it and maybe screw in a couple L brackets for support. The worst part is that when I bought it the guy gave me a weird shaped piece of metal and told me it was for the air filter since that wasn't secured right. I knew this wasn't right. After putting a band clamp on the filter and wondering what the heck this piece was for I took it for it's first real ride and the battery connection came loose. I then realized the bracket held the battery in. So after all my ramblinmg I'm pretty sure the bouncing of the battery caused the tray to crack but I was just wondering if any body else has seen this problem.
