what year is the warrior? most older ones are beat to ****. i'd say he would most likely beat u in top end, unless ur gearings changed, if u have a pipe its recomended to use a kandn and jet kit for max performance

is he a very experienced rider, wat kinda pipe u got on it???? i would thro some extra mods on ur bike before u race him and tell him it's stock besides the pipe, what is the weight diff between u two, i weigh 122 and my dad weighs 200, between us our weight difference i beat him, and i am riding a 1991 250x and he's got a 99 mint warrior, but i have a pipe and one gear smaller front sprocket, but i beat him by about 2 bike lengths down the street now, he only has the advantage when he gets into 6th gear and i can't go any faster than 5th, and if u race him don't miss a freegin gear, that will end the race right there

Most of those warriors are pretty weak, but someone who can ride good can make them ok i guess. If you have pipe jetting, etc., and 20 inch rear tires u should be able to take him:D

the warrior will win -- even if you change your gearing a little bit and have a pipe. if you dont believe me, drag him with the 300 and then switch quads and see if it is rider error

Stock Warrior vs. Stock 300EX with equal riders the warrior will win by a little bit. If you are a better rider then he is there is a good chance you could beat him. Just do a couple mods to your 300EX and race him.

Ive seen a stock 400EX beat a modded 250R 4 times in a row across a field. So I know that the rider can make a huge difference. Go practice some holeshots and you can probably take him. :macho

i'd recommend startin out in gear at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, you want to be able to get out of the whole quickly but you don't want to pull a wheelie, if you barely carry your tires than that's fine, but i would recommend going and practicing holeshots, just put it in 2nd gear and let the clutch out smoothly and quickly, don't throw the clutch cuz it will fly up in a wheelie, but go practice what i'm sayin, you'll get it down to where you can barely have the front wheels off the ground all the way through second and half of third gear if you do it right, just when you start out thro the clutch smoothly and quickly, don't be too jerky at start or it will all be over, jus take your bike down the road for a little while untill you get it down perfect, and remember, if you are starting out in sandy gravel you won't pull a wheelie no matter what you do, but if you get good tracktion from the dirt you are in it will be easy to wheelie but quicker accelleration so i would race him on a spot you have practiced on before, anyone dissagree.........?????

depends on the rider, always does

I'd put my money on the 300 if it has a pipe, and maybe a filter.
it's most likely gonna depend on the rider.

I've raced warriors before....not that much of a challenge. As long as it's not a top speed battle with stock gearing your alright.

I would get a 14t front sprocket. Then all of his trash talking days will be over.

if it is a drag it will be close if not u should beat him aroun the track easily just because of you suspension

Is the warrior a 6 speed or 5? Riding/traction aside, which bike has a higher top speed?

i am sorry to say but the warrior will win. i own a 300ex and an old warrior and the warrior beats it in a drag every time. trust me, i have raced them several times. If the kid sucks at riding then you might beat him. the warrior should win though. it has more gears and a heck of a lot more displacement. if you race him through the woods, you will probably beat him though. just my .02 cents

there is no doubt in my mind that the warrior will win. having had a warrior before my 300 (i preferred the warrior now come to think of it) i am positive that quad vs quad and not rider vs rider the warrior will win; the mid range powerband kils that of the 300 and with about 70 more cc's and an extra gear, it should

i have a 2001 300 and my buddy has a 99 warrior and when we race we're both neck and neck until tops speed. but hes got 25 inch spidertracks and i have only 20 inchers. and we both decided if we switched tires that i'd win.
