i have a stock 2001 scrambler 400 4x4. i was wondering, will it take a 400ex? i think it will, but im not sure. anyone know?

i have 3 buddies that have 2000 Scrambler 400 2x4's,,,your 4x4 will not hang with a 400EX,,,drag races between me and my buddies are only close outta the hole,,,

my friends 400 2x4 hangs with us just fine, those polaris's hold their own in drag races

I had 98 polaris sport 400 and that thing was damn fast for being stock. Straight line drag between between that and my 400ex would prob be pretty close but the 400ex would prob take it. But that thing was fast for as heavy as it was. It also handled like crap and whole bunch of stuff vibrated and rattled.

ya, i noticed that it vibrates a lot, but i thought thet that wuz normal. is the 2x4 faster than the 4x4 then. i know its like 40 lbs lighter

I raced one (4x4 400), it had a filter and no lid, I had no problem blowing it away.

heh.. my buddy has a 99 scrambler and with the racing piston in it, it will go about 130 kph, but since its polaris... the four-wheel drive has a short in it, and we were going down the roads last night, doing about 100 kph, and it kicked into four-wheel drive, and made him stear off the road and flip the quad. Cracked the plastic, and thats about it, his neck is sore and thats about it. We laughed about it later lol

My dad has a scrambler.....if you look up hotseat in minnesota they have kits and they "say" that adding these kits you can beat banshees.........I don't know i haven't seen one but they have an article about it in dirtwheels i think november or october issue......

I had a 1995 400sport with pipe jetting clutch mods 2 wheel drive and also had a bone stock 400ex at same time the sport was faster or at least equal

i read the article that 400EX KID is talking about, pretty cool stuff,,,the scrambler's (400's) respond VERY well to performance upgrades, pipe and jet one of them and it really wakes up,,,later
