Cool! we here in MD use to do the same till they shut down are trails we had at least 20miles along the patuxent river in winter we would ride the ponds and explore places in winter that you cant ride in summer cause of the thick swampmud .

I know....I know....we usually all do wear our helmets, and it really is stupid not to, expecially when they are sitting in the truck!!

250r/KFX rider,
We do almost the exact same thing near Columbus, Nebraska. We are a little more technical though. We actually make a oval track and we have ice tires with screw studs in them. Cheng Shin actually makes a ice tire you can screw special ice screws into. You can order the screws at any dealer. You hook up great with the screws in and we make it quite the comptetition. Awesome fun riding on ice!!! Hopefully it will be a cold enough winter!

Duner21,
We do the oval track thing too, but having multiple direction turns and "hazards" is much more fun! The lake we are on is about 50 acres of ice so we make many different tracks in a day. Oh, and we do put screws in the tires (tons of them) you wouldn't even hardly move without them. Only a few more month's and we should be ready to ride!!
