i posted the thread before with the sprocket questions. the carb was jetted when i purchased the 4hunny then i put a 426 piston port polished, cam, and air box eliminator and a x-6 cs. what jets should i be running? like i said the bike had a dg stg 3 exhaust with holes in the air box all stock otherwise. i live in new orleans, at or below sea level.

Probably a 50-52 pilot, 170-175 main

A 50 pilot sounds huge. Stock is a 38.

well like i said the carb was jetted at purchase. what is like a stage one jet? i would need a stage two or three huh? im sure with proper jetting my stuff would fly. sometimes i hear like a gulping noise.

There isnt any set jetting for any one. There isnt a shage 1, 2, or 3 jet. It just depends on what your particular engine needs.

That is a kit that has several different main jets but no pilot jets. I personally dont like them because they usually dont have what you need. About the only thing they are good for is if you are rejetting for a pipe and filter and thats it.

thats kinda what im getting at. i know the bike has a jet for a full exhaust and airbox holes. do you think this is sufficient or i need to rejet? will i see a diff.?

You should rejet and i doubt the kit would have a large enough main and they usually dont come with a pilot jet. Im close to shreveport so there arnt to many places to ride around here without driving 45min or more. There were two mx tracks now we are down to one, but Highlifter is supposed to be opening one this year. :D
