I was wondering what all parts are interchangable between the 300ex and 250r?? just picked up my wife a nice 01 300ex for 600 bucks. let me know guys

the 250r/400ex stock a-arms but you need a front shock adapter
tie rods
tie rod ends

search on here there are a buch of posts that tell you what is interchangeable

Thanks Dave, I've always heard this but can you tell me if its true... I've heard that 250r stock a arms and considered +2's on a 300ex? any truth 2 this? Thanks, Shane

I don't think thats true cuz my old 300ex and my 250r measure about the same.

actually they are +2's if you put 400ex/250r a-arms on a 300ex but you'll have too buy or make a shock adapter to run 400ex shocks or 450r shocks

250r arms on a 300 are +2 (some say +1.75") You will need to use the 300ex a arm bushings to make them work along with either a shock mount bracket or custom length shocks.

wheels/tires are interchangeable

swingarm can be made to fit with some minor frame mods (+ axle, hubs and carrier)

handlebars (of course)

250r hoods can be modded to fit along with the rest of the plastics.
