FMF, DMC, LRD. Out of those 3 I would go with LRD unless you want it on the more quiet side then get FMF

I have a White Brothers E2 slip on with my stage 2 hotcam. The bike runs great. The pipe also sounds REAL nice with the race tip on it.

I have the DMC alien dual setup. I love it.

And i think only me and one other person has it on this site.

I agree that eberyone has HMF, i would never buy one out of spite.

Yeah, but you never experienced a regualr system.

No offense, but yours was kinda crappy and alot louder because it was cut short, into a shorty.

With my regualr full system, it improved mainly mid-top, but either added or didnt lose any bottom end, plus it is quieter then yours.

You cant talk trash when you never had the real regualer style system.

i have a white bros e series and i like it, great sound. cant really compare power to anything cause thats all ive had. i know a lot of people have hmf, and ive heard a lot of good things about them.

IMO if you trail ride go with the hmf slipon, other than fmf, dmc, etc etc.

HMf slipon with a powerbomb header, would be great for you. The potential of a full system with your hotcams 3, and the great low end of the hmf slipon.

Its also fairly cheap for a full system, and the header can lower the decibals of the hmf slipon.

i still want to see a dyno proving the powerbomb has a HP or torque increase

I dont think its raises it very much at all, maybe 1/2 or 1 horsepower, but it quiets the hmf down alittle.

yeah i heard it gives it a nice tone to it. I would never buy 1 used because they are so expensive for what your getting. You can get a HMF full system for $250 if you already have the slip on.

I have a stage 3 webcam, 12:1 compression piston, 440 big bore, hardened rockers, etc. A built engine basically.

I run a full Yoshimura RS3 system and I love it. Good tone, good power increase over my old white bro. pipe and it looks alot better.

They come with a quiet core incase you want to put it in, but its not wayyyy loud like an HMF is.:)

The exhaust I was talking about was the E2 not the e-series. The E2 doesnt have all of those discs it is a straight system. I didnt know you had a stage 3. You def need a full system then. What about TC racings pipe?

I take it that you have the newer version of the hotcams stage 3 cam, if so that I believe that is a stroker cam. You might want to look into a two bros exhaust, LRD, or fmf if your looking into something different.

im going to back them on the hmf with the powerbomb... i think its a great set up! i can see a difference with it but i dont have any work into the motor soo i dont know what kind of gains there is being a built motor.. it give a great deeper tone... deff worth looking into in my opinion

I have owned a sparks x-4 and currently a x-6. Both are excellent. The power and sound is awesome.

back when my cousin had his 440, he had a full curtis sparks pipe, not sure which model though. anyways, he said he loved it and he would never run anything else.

01-07-2008, 01:39 PM
TC, white bros, or sparks are the only exhausts I would ever run.

I called over to FMF and you know what this guy said? He said that a high flow header pipe will actually do you better than a power bomb. Their high flow header will gain you 1-2hp and a bit more torque than a stock header while the power bomb does more for noise. Now I know and believe what he's saying but, isn't he puting his own company down? My recommendation is to get a system with a high flow header, not much in the way of baffels which slow the flow down bad (like quiet cores) & still not be too loud. Like the White Bros E-series full system. :D
