Next week a bunch of my friends and myself will be heading to Lake Gaston MX for some winter practice. We plan on leaving NY wed. morning and staying till Sunday afternoon. We have been planning this trip for about 3 months now and now looking at the weather channel forecast it says its going to rain during our time there. My question is knowing the weather channel is usually wrong do you guys have a local weather forecast for that area? Any responses will be greatly appreciated!

Pretty much use www.weather.com to check the weather. I do wish they would tell you how much rain they expect in inches and not the chance it might rain. We are in a severe drought right now. Often they call for rain and are right...we get about 1/8".

You should drive south to Louisburg too and hit NCMP.
